Ron is a printer by trade, with an eye for opportunities to create useful products for the trades. Recognizing the market potential of such products, he has purchased the rights to Chico’s Pipefitters Pocket Cards, and has licensed BDC as the primary worldwide distributor.

Maggie deals with the customer side of the BDC operation. For years, she has been the key contact between the BDC product and it’s readers. She deals with the supply companies, bookstores and all other BDC customers, never losing sight of our goal - to continually make BDC products the most valuable trade reference tools in America.

Chico arrived in America as a Peruvian immigrant in 1969. He mastered the English language and received a degree in Design and Drafting. He then gained experience through various positions including pipefitting, boilermaking, engineering mechanic and foreman. Throughout his career, Chico has created several products addressing needs he observed while working in the trade. He created Chico’s Pipefitters Pocket Cards by compiling notes he had accumulated while working in the industry. By organizing the reference information he most often needed on the job, he has increased the productivity of thousands of workers in the Pipefitting and Plumbing industries.
